Bright Lights Change Your Perspective

Buying a Dive Light is easy…wrong! With so many choices and the market flooded I encourage you to do some basic research.  Know what you need and why. Are you a recreational diver or photographer? How much light you need is important when picking out the right light for you.
Consider a primary light, which should be a larger model with a wide, bright beam.  Your backup light is always smaller (one you tuck in your BCD). This light is really important! Don’t make a mistake of buying a cheap one that floods. This one is the spare tire of your underwater world!

Battery life is another consideration. It is best to carry a primary dive light that has twice the battery life as your planned dive time. Always check you secondary light too! Find a light that is durable. Shatterproof glass and an easy to use handle with lanyard is important.

Luckily I had an opportunity to try out Lightnbeyond ARCHON lights. These are definitely the way to go!
