Divi Resorts Rocks!

I stayed at the Divi Flamingo Beach Resort and Casino, one of the top dive resorts in the Caribbean, while doing research on this Bonaire series. The spacious property is located on the water, offering a large beach area, patios for dining including restaurants, and a dive shop. The rooms were clean, comfortable and brightly decorated. Many of the rooms offer a garden view, some with private balconies. Divi Resorts is also celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2012. Overall a great place to end your diving day! 

The Divi Flamingo Beach Resort offers Divi Dive Bonaire - a PADI dive resort ,SSI dive center and TDI/SDI resort dive center dive operation with custom dive boats, equipment, and an experienced dive crew.  I met Serge DeGroote, the Dive Operations Manager.  He toured the operations with me, introducing me to the crew and the passengers. His friendly and professional attitude really helped break the ice with the other passengers. Special thanks to Serge for his time!

According to Serge, the Divi Dive Bonaire conveniently provides five custom dive boats, guest gear storage, fully equipped dive shop, and an experienced dive crew with over ten years experience diving in Bonaire. Morning, afternoon, and night boat dives are available to guests, and fabulous shore diving is available 24 hours a day from the Flamingo beach or dive dock. Divi Dive Bonaire offers a full range of certification courses for both advanced and beginning divers.
