Treasure Hunt hits the beach in Tacoma –
don't miss your CHANCE TO WIN BIG!
Divers will plunge for prizes at the largest Treasure Hunt in the Pacific Northwest in Tacoma, Washington on Sunday, April 22 at 10 a.m. (time changed from 9 am to 10 am due to tides)
Held on Sunday morning, Pacific Northwest divers will storm Owen Beach in Point Defiance Park for all the action and prizes Treasure Hunt offers. The ninth annual dive extravaganza, part of the Northwest Dive & Travel Expo weekend, will attract divers from all over the Northwest.
“We work really hard all year to improve our events, and the 2013 Treasure Hunt is no exception” said Event Director and NWDN Publisher Rick Stratton. “This year’s event has many changes which will increase safety and improve the fun at the event.”
“Our prizes this year are outstanding! In addition to the Treasure Chest filled with $1,000 CASH, divers can have a chance to win wetsuits, drysuits, regulators, trips and more. The Treasure Hunt is still on Sunday Morning, and we are pleased with how the event has turned out. Divers can focus on the dive and attend the show on Sunday to pick up their prizes." Stratton said.
“Divers will be able to dive for treasure at 9 a.m. and then go to the Convention Center at noon or later to pick up their prizes.” All the prizes will be awarded at the Convention Center. All prizes must be claimed during the weekend.
We have improved the process of how prizes are awarded and look forward to announcing these changes in the near future!
